CANDID CONVERSATIONS
A Space to Talk. A Space to Breathe. A Space to Be Real.
Candid Conversations are small-group gatherings created for college women who want honest conversation without pressure, judgment, or the expectation to have everything figured out.
Many students shared that they feel overwhelmed, stressed, and unsure where they can speak openly on campus. These conversations exist to meet that need — gently and intentionally.
You don’t have to prepare.
You don’t have to perform.
You just have to show up.
What These Conversations Look Like
Designed With College Women in Mind
Candid Conversations are:
-
Small and intimate (not large events)
-
Guided, but not forced
-
Rooted in respect and confidentiality
-
Centered on real life — not perfection
-
Topics may include:
-
Stress and burnout
-
Identity and confidence
-
Navigating college expectations
-
Purpose, leadership, and growth
-
Comparison, pressure, and self-doubt
You’re welcome to speak — or just listen.
Why Small Spaces Matter
Because Growth Feels Safer in Community
Many college women told us they’re still figuring out what support looks like for them. We believe support starts with being heard.
Small group spaces allow:
-
Honest conversation
-
Mutual understanding
-
Connection without spotlight or pressure
This is where leadership begins — not by being the loudest in the room, but by learning to show up authentically.
Leadership & Personal Growth
Growing Without the Pressure to Perform
Come Close approaches leadership differently.
Leadership isn’t about titles or perfection. It’s about self-awareness, confidence, and the ability to connect with others.
Through conversation, reflection, and shared experience, participants are encouraged to:
-
Build confidence
-
Develop their voice
-
Learn from one another
-
Grow at their own pace
This is leadership rooted in humanity — not hustle culture.
Professional Resources (Growing)
Support for What Comes Next
We also offer and continue to develop professional resources to support students beyond conversation.
These may include:
-
Career and academic guidance
-
Skill-building opportunities
-
Exposure to professional pathways
-
Future mentorship connections
Our focus is to support growth without making students feel behind or unprepared.
A structured mentorship program is part of our long-term vision. For now, we are focused on building trust, connection, and community first.
