Come Close began in 2023 as a heartfelt gathering led by Joi during her time as a pastor’s wife. It has since evolved into a deeper, wider, and more timely movement. Rooted in the promise of James 4:8, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you,” Come Close was born from a personal turning point. After a period of reflection, Joi is relaunching Come Close with a mission that reaches beyond church walls into the everyday moments women live in. Whether you're navigating high school, college, post-grad transitions, or simply trying to hold onto your identity in a chaotic world, Come Close is for you. It’s a space where conversations are real, connections are deep, and purpose gets clearer. This panel isn’t just another talk; it’s a space to breathe, be seen, and be poured into. We’ll tackle real questions about identity, faith, sisterhood, and building a life that lasts. From mentorship to meaningful community, Come Close is more than an event—it’s an invitation.
